Founded in 1901, Shandong University（SDU, http://www.en.sdu.edu.cn/）is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education (MOE) with a long history, a variety of disciplines, strong academic strength, and distinctive characteristics, which has great influence both at home and abroad. Shandong University is a member university of Project 211 and Project 985, two national key construction projects to support the development of high-quality universities. Shandong University is one of the initiative universities of modern Chinese higher education. In 2017, it was listed in the first national "world-class universities and first-class discipline" construction list.
The university has well-established platforms for teaching and researches: 2 national key first level disciplines (covering 8 second-level disciplines), 17 national key second level disciplines, 8 state-level research bases (including state key labs, state engineering research centers, a national engineering laboratory, and a national engineering promotion center), 4 key research bases of humanity and social sciences under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, and 4 discipline innovation intellectual resource bases of the State Foreign Experts Administration and MOE. These platforms cover the disciplinary fields of liberal arts, science, engineering and medicine and help SDU to achieve coordinated development between different disciplines.
School of Microelectronics (SME, http://mele.sdu.edu.cn/index.htm), which was founded in 2016, currently has more than 70 faculty members and consists of two divisions-microelectronics and integrated circuits. Apartfrom offering undergraduate and graduate courses, faculty members are also active in research and development, engaging in a broad range of collaborations with renowned overseas universities, research institutes and multinational companies. To support advanced research and teaching activities, the school hosts 4 research centers which are well-equipped with sophisticated and state-of-the-art equipment. These researchers support the school’s extensive research output in IC design and intelligent systems, Wide bandgap semiconductor and flexible micro-nano-electronics, Photonics, Bioelectronics and healthcare. SME also works closely and consistently with diverse industry partners to ensure that we are staying ahead of tomorrow’s demands.

I. Position Requirements
(1) Talented Researchers
The professionals should currently have formal teaching or researching positions (e.g., Full/Assoc./Assistant Prof., Scientist) in well-known overseas universities, research institutes or well-known research and development institutions.
(2)Teaching-research faculty
The positions of scientific-researcher could be divided into three categories: Full professor, associate professor, and assistant professor.
(3)Scientific-researcherfaculty
The positions of scientific-researcher could be divided into three categories: research fellow, associate researcher and assistant researcher.
(4)Postdoctoral Positions
II.Basic Requirements for Applicants
(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic ofChina; respect the habits and customs of the nation. No previous legal disputes in the original residence country; no criminal records.
(2) Applicants should have obtained doctoral degrees in the related fields at home and abroad and be in teaching and researching positions.
(3) Applicants should have good academic performance and in good health status, with good communication skills, coordination abilities, independent working abilities as well as good teamwork spirits.
(4) Forforeign teachers, they should have the experience of working as teaching and researching staff in universities or research institute of English speaking countries. Besides, candidates should be native English speakers.
