This major is to adapt to the electronic information age to the demand of microelectronics, adapt to the rapid development of the microelectronics industry based on integrated circuits, adapt to the rapid development of the microelectronics industry and the demand for talents.To cultivate application-oriented and inter-disciplinary talents in microelectronics, and to cultivate students who can meet the needs of multi-disciplinary development.
The students will have a good foundation in physics, special knowledge in semiconductor materials, devices and integrated circuits, master basic experimental skills in microelectronics, and be able to engage in scientific research, teaching, scientific and technological development, production management and other work in semiconductor devices, integrated circuits and microelectronics materials.
The required core courses of this major include: comprehensive and in-depth basic courses of mathematics and physics and core courses of microelectronics from materials, devices to circuits and systems.Practical teaching is an important feature of this major. The IC process experiment can enable students to prepare semiconductor devices using the core process of IC and complete the electrical performance test of devices.

Integrated Circuit Design and Integrated Systems
This major is to meet the needs of the country to vigorously develop the integrated circuit industry, to train integrated circuit and integrated system design professionals for the goal and set.This major emphasizes the combination of theory and practice, and the students trained can well adapt to the needs of the IC industry for talents.
The students will have a solid theoretical foundation of circuits, be familiar with the specialized knowledge of IC devices and processes, master the design skills of IC and system, and become senior professionals engaged in the development of industrial science and technology, production management and scientific research of IC chip design and circuit system research and development.
The required core courses of this major include: basic courses of circuit and system and integrated circuit chip Design series core courses. This major emphasizes the combination of theory and practice, and the professional-level integrated circuit design hardware and software environment ensures that each design course has corresponding experimental courses. Through case teaching courses, students can learn the whole process of IC chip design.
