Circuits and Systems

Training objectives:

Familiar with basic circuit theory, able to perform theoretical analysis and application design at the circuit level and system level. Good software simulation ability, a systematic and comprehensive understanding of a professional field of electronic science and technology. Be able to independently engage in research, teaching and high-tech development in the subject field. Master at least one foreign language proficiently, with the ability of "reading, writing, listening and speaking". Have the quality and ability to become an academic leader or project leader in the subject management ability.

Research direction:

Circuit theory and system design, VLSI design, intelligent measurement and control and embedded systems, sensor networks and the Internet of things, and intelligent information processing and digital medical care.

Length of study:

The length of schooling for doctoral students is 4 years, and students who meet the normal graduation requirements can graduate 1 year in advance. The length of study is 3~7 years.

Credit requirements:

At least 13 credits for full-time general doctoral students, including 11 credits for compulsory courses and 2 credits for elective courses.


Microelectronics and solid-state electronics

Training objectives:

Master the solid and broad theoretical basis and systematic and in-depth professional knowledge of microelectronics and solid-state electronics. Possess solid and proficient experimental skills and computational analysis capabilities, and master the basic skills and methods of scientific research. Have the ability to independently engage in creative scientific research, teaching and high-tech development. Make creative achievements in science or specialized technology, have a more comprehensive understanding of domestic and foreign academic dynamics of the major, and have unique insights on certain issues.

Master at least one foreign language (English), be able to read foreign language materials of the major, and have certain writing ability and international academic communication ability. If the foreign language is not English, the second foreign language must be taken, and the language is English.

Research direction:

Nanoelectronics and terahertz devices, flexible thin film electronic devices, wide band gap semiconductor materials and devices, organic spin semiconductor materials and devices, and semiconductor memory.

Length of study:

The length of schooling for full-time doctoral students is 4 years.

Credit requirements:

General doctoral students should take no less than 14 credits, of which 12 credits are required (including frontier lectures and seminars) and 2 credits are optional. Graduated with a doctorate degree in engineering.
